As we get closer to Valentines Day, I thought that I would share with you all some pictures of my most beloved dessert - Brenda's World Famous Buttermilk Pie. Brenda being my mom, and the World Famous part being totally non-negotiable. I once brought this pie to a pot luck in elementary and the ladies in the front office ate it before I could share with my class. No lie, it's that good!
I thought I would dress it up a bit and serve it as a tart with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. I think it turned out really pretty and can't wait to slice it up for dessert tonight. Who am I kidding, I'm about to slice into it as soon as I head back into the kitchen!
