Vanilla Praline Cake with Combed Buttercream

I'm slowly by surely getting a handle on the most efficient way to churn out multiple orders and I'm continuing to learn so much every single day. It's awesome and exhausting all at the same time and I wouldn't have it any other way. I had a little extra time before this cake was picked up so I played around with a few flowers and snapped these pretty shots.

Champagne Cake with Peach Filling

Peaches and cream Macarons

Making the most of my last batch of peach jam made from the juiciest Fredericksburg peaches! Alongside the brown butter apple macarons, these peaches and cream macarons were also available exclusively at Jane and John Dough at the Tomball Farmers Market last week and were a huge hit!

Can't wait to show off what I'm cooking up for them this week!

Brown Butter Apple Macarons

Created as a take on Jane's famous brown butter apple pie, these macarons are the perfect way to welcome a little Fall spirit! Filled with a brown butter frosting and apples that were slow-cooked in cinnamon and sugar they are the perfect little bite. These were available exclusively at Jane and John Dough's stand at the Tomball Farmer's Market last week so if you were unable to make it out let me know if these are something you would like to see pop up again on the menu!

Snowflakes in August can mean only one thing...FROZEN PARTY!

Finally got around to organizing some of my favorite cake stands and added a few to the mix. Dream come true, I tell ya.

Last but definitely not least I got to enjoy the best lunch with Diana from Sweet Blessings Bakeshop. She's as nice as she is talented and I'm so happy to call her a friend. She also brought my kids toys and me some incredible carrot cupcakes. She's awesome and after out chat I feel like I'm walking with a much lighter load. I forget how refreshing some honest and thoughtful conversation can be sometimes. 

Weekly Menu: Blueberry and Blackberry Pie

This week's menu is this beautiful blueberry and blackberry pie! With a hint of lemon and spiced with nutmeg and cardamom it is the perfect way to cap off this weekend's barbecue. I love it served with a scoop of vanilla bean creme fraiche but a little vanilla blue bell ice cream never hurt anyone :)

Macarons for Jane and John Dough!

Someone pinch me. Today the amazing team of Jane and John Dough are including my macarons at their booth at the Tomball Farmers Market! I have so much respect for what they are doing for Tomball and Spring and am so thankful that they included me in their lineup today. I could go on and on, for days and days, about how great they are and hope that this is the beginning of a long and very sweet relationship!

Friday's Order

Today I'm so happy to be sending these sweets off to celebrate a very special baptism of one of my high school buddy's new little ones. Such a fun weekend ahead for them and hope they enjoy every sweet second with family and friends!

Smash Cake

Today I sent out the tiniest 6" vanilla smash cake for a lucky little one to dive into. I love the orange color and just looking at these pictures makes me want to run my finger through the frosting for a taste! Mission accomplished :)
